Harvest Festival: Minneopa State Park
Saturday September 27th, 2014 5:00pm – 8:00pm
If you would like to get out an enjoy a great fall weekend in September as the leaves are starting to change, families can come enjoy an evening of old fashioned outdoor fall fun at Minneopa State Park. You are more then welcome to stop on by at any time between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Stay for the evening or join in the fun for an hour. Meet in the group campground area and enjoy a warm bonfire while waiting to go for a hayride through the park. There will also be activities for the kids and hot chocolate and marshmallows for everyone. We ask that guests are invited to bring their own hot dogs, meat or other food to grill. Families may also want to take a short hike down a candle-lit trail before heading home. The great fall event is co-sponsored by the Friends of Minneopa, a nonprofit, volunteer organization of citizens interested in preserving, managing and promoting the resources of the park.
